Up for bid a large SERVING SALAD BOWL by Iroquios China. It comes from my grandmother's large collection of Iroquios China. Overall, it weighs 8 pounds, measures 13" in diameter, the opening is 7 1/2" in diameter. It is 12" in height- (bowl on base). This bowl moves and tilts to all sides, for easier serving. Considering its age, it's in great condition! This is definitely a conversation piece!Unfortunately, because this was a "tester"- see below for explanation, they did not stamp Iroquios China on the bottom. I only know this is Iroquios because of what my grandmother has told me- see explanation below. Nevertheless, this is really a unique piece of china. Over the years, he brought home many pieces- some were "testers"- they made a few pieces to see how they did before selling them to the mass market.
