Up for auction i have an unusual games compendium box with natural veneer, possibly horn or skin, the lid is with inset gilt brass handle, the interior is lined with red leather and contains fitted accessories, the gilt metal hinge is stamped 'ROWLAND WARD F.Z.S 166 PICADILLY THE JUNGLE' circa 1900. 38.5cm wide, the box is missing some of it's accessories But is complete with gaming score markers counters and other accessories, the unusual natural material has warped slightly over the years and could do with a bit of a tidy up. All in all this is a very unusual box which is a great talking point, "what is it made from?" I'm starting the bidding at a very reasonably £300 as I feel this is a cheap price for a very unusual box by rowland ward and I cannot find another in existence. There is no key included with this box.Any question please ask, , collection preferred from west Sussex but I can possibly arrange postage if neededPosted with eBay Mobile
