The bottom is adorned with a luxurious brass plate which reads, To Roy Campanella In Appreciation of his Unselfish Contribution to Baseball Mr. W.P. Holmes, President Wilson Sporting Goods Co. An absolutely magnificent piece that is equal in both historical importance and aesthetic beauty. This is basically a career Gold Glove Award and is of incredible historical importance.
