Roy Johnson MURDER MOST DEADLY Roy Johnson writes: The original of this tricky described as 'Psycho' in my book "Pure Gold", published by Martin Breese Ltd in 1988, was based on Jack Yates trick 'CLUE'. I have had many requests to supply the apparatus and updated performance details, but of course this would have been unethical in view of the publishers committment. However, I am delighted that Martin Breese, a long time friend, has now granted permission for me to market the item in its new format and title, and I am greatly indebted to him for his generosity. The book itself is now'out of print and unlikely to be reprinted in the near future and so these instructions will be fully comprehensive. However, if you do have access to a copy of the book I would suggest that cross reference to the original items MURDER IMPERFECT'and 'PSYCHO' would prove of interest, and of course the rest of the book is pretty good too! The effect is suitable for close-up, cabaret, stage or even informal use. The basis of the trick relies upon a very simple principle which is best understood when divorced from the distraction of the presentation and other elements of the overall 'package'.
