Leonard Slye started in films but he found his greatest success in television. An original member of the Sons of the Pioneers he did over 80 features. For six seasons he had his own show and this catapulted his fame through the stratosp A solid singer, he was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame twice, once as a solo and a second time with the Sons of the Pioneers. In addition to his artistic talents, he was an incredible businessman. He never missed an opportunity to get his image out to the kids and fans who adored him. One of his most successful endeavors was his long running comic. It was a solo title for the first 91 issues and with #92 he added Trigger's name across the top. Each issue in this volume features a photo-cover. Each issue bound in this hardcover features full color issues just as they appeared on the newsstands. At the time these books came out (1958), Dell was not placing ads inside their books, only on the back cover. T were some house ads, but not many. So each issue is chock-full of western adventure.
