A rare very well made unusualsterling silver military menu holder. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1951 withthe makers mark being JWB for J W Benson of Ludgate Hill London. It has been made for the Royal Air Force Maintenance Command Service the front being cast in the form of their insignia. It’s the kind of piece that would have been used on the officers table. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 1.5 inches (3.8cms) wide across the base by 1.25 inches (3.3cms) tall and weighs 26 grams.
