English Fine Bone China Teacup, Saucer & Side PlateRoyal Albert, Lady Carlyle PatternDescription Manufacturer: Royal Albert, Staffordshire, EnglandProduction Status: Discontinued | Actual: 1944 - 2013 A Malvern shape, footed teacup, a matching deep recess saucer and side plate. The crisp white china elegantly showcases the popular Lady Carlyle pattern featuring a pink floral chintz border, complemented by bouquets of roses , bluebells and forget-me-nots with hand enamelled highlights. The floral designs are bordered with rococo style decorative scrolls and trimmed with lustrous 22 carat gold banding. Measurements (approx.) Cup -- Height: 2 3/4" (7 cm) | Diameter 3 1/2" (9 cm) Saucer Diameter: 5 1/2" (14 cm) Plate Diameter: 6 1/4" (16 cm) Condition The trio is offered in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. The colours are still vibrant and the glazed is unmarked, but in keeping with its vintage, there is nominal age related wear to the gilding. - The plate has 3 tiny indents on the base rim, probably from the firing process. - The saucer is 2nd quality as the pink colour in the saucer's centre border is slightly lighter than normal Royal Albert, Lady Carlyle Tea Cup.
