Must be submitted to IHG by 05/2014 Royal Ambassador status is the highest level of elite membership with InterContinental Hotels and Resorts (IHG) and entitles IHG Rewards Club (Previously known as Priority Club Rewards) members to additional benefits at Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts.This certificate will automatically fast track you to the highest possible Elite-Status at all InterContinental Hotels and Resorts worldwide and is usually very difficult to obtain (stay 60+ nights per year after paying for Ambassador Level Membership). These certificates are very rare - given to only the top 1% of AMB members. When you redeem the certificate you will have to pay the US$200 membership fee for the Ambassador program if you are not already an Ambassador member. This fee is not part of the auction and is to be paid directly to InterContinental, using the form on the back of the certificate. Your Royal Ambassador status would be valid for 12 months if you are not already a regular Ambassador. If you are already an Ambassador member you do not have to pay the $200 USD membership fee. When you redeem the certificate, you will receive a welcome membership package from InterContinental that will include a complimentary Free Weekend Night Certificate at any InterContinental hotel of your choice, when you pay for the night before.Membership is valid for 12 months (or the remainder of your existing Ambassador Membership year if you are already a member) but can be renewed depending on number of nights stayed within InterContinental Hotels Group or via submission of another renewal certificate.
