Offered is a Royal Bayreuth Figural Creamer. Milk Maid/Colonial Girl with Pitcher. Marked with the Royal Bayreuth Bavaria Mark with #'s 1794. Also marked with the impressed Deponiert- See photo.Mark is clear and ledgible. The body of the creamer is the milk maid's flowing apron and dress. The dress has a embossed intriquite lace pattern which completely details the bottom of the pitcher. The rim is the maidens arm , sleeve, and ruffles of her dress. The ruffel is very well detailed and appears wavey in texture. The Blue is perfect in color- ROBUST! The white displays several shades of gray and white. The colors are shaded well. Her face is well detailed. Rosey red lips and plump red cheeks highlight her face. Brown curly hair with a well defined nose! No defects. Her head his covered with a bonnet which has molded appearance. The pitcher forms the spout of the creamer which is being grasped by the maiden. The handle has a ornate twisting scarf design and is very delicate in appearance. Very fine and light china. Ht is 4.25" .Base is 2.75" at the widest pt. T are no chips, cracks, lines or repairs . T are two mfg flaws. One is a clay bubble burst on the backside of the handle. Completely glazed over with blue. The tip of the pitcher has a slight roll on one side. Could not photo-- too small -- does not affect the appearance of the pitcher spout. NO damage! Perfect Detail! Bold Color! Hard to find piece to say the least. 100 percent accurate description ! We will double box and pack this fine piece with TLC! Thanks!
