Royal Bayreuth Piebald Brown Bull Milk Pitcher RARE blue 2nd mark plus "deponiert" I'll let veterinary geneticists tell me in which breeds of bovines piebalding (a genetic disorder related to albinism) occurs, but I'll bet this critter is named for one of the Channel Islands (e.g. Guernsey, Jersey). He's 4 1/2" tall to tip of horns and 6" from tip of noose to end of handle. No damage or defects other than explained above. As an aside: in the leisurely South, we pronounce 'piebald', PIE- BALD, to rhyme with 'eyeballed'. Our more didactic cousins in the Northeast (and closer to the Mother Country), pronounce PIEBALD more correctly as if it were spelled 'PIBBLED', to rhyme with 'nibbled'.
