A truly fine piece of Royal Bonn porcelain in a late 1800s covered jar or vase form in the very elegant mimic of Royal Worchester Ivory. It is truly excellent in execution and has an artist cipher on the front and I also believe on the bottom. The artist cipher is show in the upper right photo of front detail to the right. I find this piece far superior to many pieces of Royal Worchester that I have had the opportunity to purchase. There is extensive, elegant raised gold work surrounding the florals. The piece is all handpainted, front back and cover. There is only a tiny bit of wear to the gold on the top of the cover finial and on the edge of the vase opening where the lid rests. It stands 16 inches tall to the top of the finial. The base is 4 1/8 inches in diameter and the widest part of the body is approximately 9 inches in diameter. There are no defects, damage or repair to the piece. The covers were certainly the first to go and at a mimimum the finial. All the raised gold work is intact. The interior is completely clear and without staining. In the photo that shows the complete base, the discoloration is from paint and finishing. All our pieces are guaranteed to be as we represent them. We provide excellent packaging to protect an item in shipment. This item would need to be sent double boxed. Item will be shipped from 79409.
