Our custom made chip & dip or veggie & dip tray using Royal China Old Currier & Ives pieces is a piece I'm certain you will enjoy adding to your dinnerware collection. There are no chips or cracks to the platter or bowl. These pieces appear to either have never been used or seldom used. There are, however, 4 lines of crazing on the backside of the platter, but you have to turn the platter over to see them. You will not see these when using or displaying this piece. The silver tone stem is pristine. This can be used to serve chips/dip (or salsa) or as a fruit & veggie tray with dip. This was made using a bowl 5 5/8" in diameter and an oval platter measuring approx 13 1/4" x 10 1/4". The stem is approx 2" in height, thus the bottom of the bowl is raised approx 2" from the platter, allowing you room for your chips, veggies or whatever you choose to serve. This is the only one I have at this time, don't delay in purchasing as I have no idea when I will acquire pieces like this again.
