ROYAL COPENHAGEN BLUE FLUTED PLAIN SQUARE SERVING BOWL for JAPAN MARKET ONLY MINT RARE Gorgerous, extremely rare square bowl in the beautiful fluted plain design decoration. The decoration on this bowl was made with minimalist Danish design in mind. This bowl was only made for the market in Japan in limited edition and could only be purchased in stores there. It can't even be purchased in Copenhagen, Denmark so this shape and decoration design is rare and sought after. It has since been retired and is not made with this decoration any longer. Measuring 8 1/4" and just under 2 1/2" deep - This bowl just has a great shape with many uses. Use it to serve potatoes, rice, vegetables on the dinner table - or use as fruit bowl, candy bowl or nut dish, there are just so many uses for this lovely porcelain bowl. I picked this out, I prefer the darker blue paint. The blue decoration pattern is neat and the blue is the dark color, most sought after in my opinion - the decorations varies from artist to artist: some has a lighter hand, where the lines and flowers are fainter. This bowl is brand new, never used, no chips, no utensil wear. The rear side of the plate has the Royal Copenhagen stamp. It is a FIRST factory quality. Model number is 578 and the artist mark are initials
