Up for auction is a fabulous Vintage Royal Copenhagen Figurine of a king or wise man in mint condition-Full 12" tall NO RESERVE- NO PAY PAL He has a long pony tail and with his delicate fingers is holding a bird and in the other hand a gold container The bottom dates the piece before 1950 the center is printed-Royal Copenhagen arched above the seal shape. Denmark arched around the underside,with 3 blue waves under that The artist signed in green on the right-gx (x means artist)The design number is hand written in green to the left 4367 and also inscribed 4367 in the clay with an additional C It is glazed in soft yellow,green & brown with gold shoes, crown, and stripping on the base. Figure has a simple stylized shape with a sweet expression and nice mustache -all perfect- no rough spots $30 shipping flat fee for ins. and safe double boxing unless out of USA e-mail with any questions and please see my other auctions I wouldn't mind shipping to any other country but I would have to let you know the cost after the auction. I was not able to change it on the listing After taking the pictures as I was packing the king I noticed a tiny flee bite on the underside of the left point of the crown I don't know if I just did it or if I just didn't see it before but to be fair I cancelled the bids so it can start over An art lover just told me the figurine is called " The Emperor's Nightinggale" from a Hans C Anderson fairy tale
