This very exotic and very unusual Royal Crown Derby 1128 2 handled bowled footed server is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks, damage, repairs, or restoration. Has the very desirable and very hard to find 1128 pattern with rich vivid colors of royal blue, orange, and intricate gold pattern design throughout, with hints of green leaves. This is the older turn of the century 1128 pattern with the old emblem and date code marked on the bottom. This is a very unusual piece for many reasons. First of all, the shape itself is very unusual. I've had hundreds, maybe thousands of Royal Crown Derby pieces, and I've never seen an 1128 pattern serving piece like this one. It has a border blue and gold pattern surrounding, with an irregular shape to the edge. A 2 handle piece, bowled, with 4 painted feet. Very unusual and very rare. Measures 10'' from handle to handle. A superb example, and an excellent piece for any collector or enthusiast. I've had the rarest of the rare of Royal Crown Derby but I've never had the pleasure of coming across something like this before. I have a modest price, good luck.
