You are looking at Vintage Royal Crown Derby Porcelain. This Remarkable Bread Plate is finely decorated in the Old Imari pattern #1128 (from pattern book 6 and initially introduced in 1887). It is the top of quality. A lovely Example of English Porcelain is embellished with rich gilding. This exquisite piece has classic form, a very beautiful elegant design and a very nice glazing. Bread Plate size: 6.25" in diameter Plate is hand-painted and all of the gilding is hand done and applied by a master gilder. The plate has rich colors and a brilliant gold that you can only find on Vintage hand gilded pieces, such as this. All colors ( iron red, cobalt blue, green, white and 22 carat gold ) are wonderful. NO discoloration. What more needs to be said about this MAGNIFICENT and RICH pattern. As anyone who is familiar with the Imari patterns, they are amongst the most coveted and expensive in the world. Offered in excellent condition, and bearing requisite printed. This piece is FREE of chips, cracks, wear to the gold trim, any hairlines, any crazing or restoration.
