Royal Crown Derby, "Olde Avesbury", English Fine Bone ChinaEly/Chelsea Shape, Coffee Service, Mini Creamer (Milk Jug) Manufacturers RRP : £115 Description Royal Crown Derby, Ely/Chelsea Shape, "Olde Avesbury" Pattern, Number: A.73, Introduced in 1932Date cyphered 1937 Lightly fluted, wavy edged, English fine bone china, mini creamer in the Ely/Chelsea shape, manufactured by the Royal Crown Derby PorcelainCompany based in Derby, England and stamped with the Royal Crown Derby mark.The striking "Olde Avesbury" pattern taken from an original embroidery in 1932. The design features colourful birds of paradise and oriental pheasants, floral bouquets and foliage in shades of gold, green and rose with a lavish sepia filigree background on a white porcelain base, finished with a luxurious gilded trim. Measurements Approx.Height: 3.25 inches (8 cm) | Width to Spout: 2.25 (6 cm), Base: 2" (5 cm). Jug holds 3.38 fluid ounces (100 ml) Condition The jug is offered in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, the gold gilding is in near mint condition.
