One (1) Lot of Seventy (70) pieces of Vintage Royal Doulton ARCADIA Pattern Bone China with the older (1938-1959) Green Label - MINT CONDITION - NEVER USED. The Set is composed of Thirteen (13) 5-Piece Place settings, each Place Setting consisting of One 10 1/2" Dinner Plate, One 8" Salad Plate, One 6 1/2" Bread and Butter Plate, One 6" Saucer and one Footed Coffee Cup - 2 3/4" tall and 3 7/8" in diameter. To complete the Set, One hard to find Gravy Boat (8 1/2" long x 2 1/2" wide x 4" tall at spout) and One Gravy Boat Underplate (Oval 8 1/4" long x 5 1/2" wide); Two (2) Large Oval Vegetable Bowls (10 3/4" long x 8 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" deep) and One Large Chop Plate or Meat Platter (16" long x 12 1/4" wide) are included. All but one dinner plate are marked on the back with the Green Royal Doulton Mark and the ARCADIA Pattern number H4802. All 70 pieces are in MINT condition - no chips, cracks, crazing, flaking or scratches/utensil marks - the set appears to have never been used. The Dishes are all a fine creamy bone china in the ARCADIA Pattern with bouquets of pink, blue, yellow and green flowers scattered over the pieces. If purchased separately on Replacements, Ltd., the 70 pieces are valued at almost $2,000.00. We are offering this beautiful Set of China at a bargain price to reduce inventory before the end of the year. What a wonderful Christmas or wedding gift this complete set would make for someone very special. We obtained this Set at an estate auction in Maryland.
