This is a lovely, very colorful figurine made by the famous Royal Doulton Porcelain Company of England. This piece is called "The Old Balloon Seller" and is #HN1315. This was modeled by well known Royal Doulton artist Leslie Harradine who did many of the early pieces. This piece was first issued in 1929 and retired in 1998. Based on the black marks to the side of the Royal Doulton stamped logo, this particular piece was produced between 1959 to 1980. This figurine measures 7-1/2" tall and has no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. This, along with the The Balloon Man are two of the most popular pieces made by Royal Doulton. The Royal Doulton Company has been acquired by the Waterford Crystal Company so these earlier pieces are much sought after by collectors. This figurine does not come in its original box but will be well packed for shipping. Please look at The Balloon Man that I have up for auction also, as they very much compliment each other and I do combine shipping cost. Pay for this lovely lady within 3 days of sales end.
INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE SHIPPING COST, SO PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT AS SHIPPING COST MAY BE LOWER.
