Welcome. The item you are bidding on in this auction is the Royal Doulton Charles Dickens Commemorative Set (Tinies) with Display Shelf. (D6676-D6687) This 12 piece set was released to celebrate Charles Dickens 170th anniversary of his birth. It comes with a mahogany display shelf suitable for hanging to display this beautiful set. The Royal Doulton crest/logo and name is on the display shelf. Both the display shelf and the 12 piece tinies set is in very good condition with no chips or breaks on the tinies. Issued from 1982-1989 the tinies are 1.5" in height. This set was commissioned by the Royal Doulton International Collectors Club in a limited edition of 7,500 pieces. (Most auctions aren't for the whole set but individual pieces as well as just the display shelf, in this auction you get all 12 Tinies as well as the Display Shelf.) Royal Doulton Toby Jugs have become collectibles and through the years have increased in value dependant on its popularity or demand for specific models. Please ask questions before bidding.
