This hand-decorated figurine is entitled EVENTIDE, depicting a gentle elderly lady, hair piled high, finishing a multicolored quilt. She is wearing a soft blue dress, with a modest collar, and a white apron. This piece was designed in the mid-1970s by William K. Harper. Harper was a very experienced modeler with a long design career at Doulton. It is hand-painted in blue, white, orange, purple, red, yellow and green. Production of this figure stopped in 1991. This piece is in perfect condition, with NO chips, scratches, cracks or crazing. It has never needed repair. It is clean with no odors. This lovely object is 7.75" high and about 5" at its widest. It is fully marked at its base. It is catalogued in ROYAL DOULTON FIGURINES, 9th Edition, by Jean Dale, published by The Charleton Press. It will be safely and quickly shipped by US Priority Mail.
