'The Polka' HN 2156 designed by M. Davies and produced between 1955 and 1969. The piece is 7.5" (19.1 cm) high. In the Charlton Standard Catalogue of Royal Doulton Figurines 10th ed. it is evaluated at US $425.00. It is in absolutely perfect mint condition with no cracks, chips, blemishes or restoration. Signed and stamped on the bottom with HN 2156.
This beautiful figurine was part of my mother's much treasured collection of Royal Doulton, which were given to her by my father over the years during the 1950's, 60's and 70's. They were always kept in a special china cabinet, away from sunlight in their smoke-free home. They were made in England, of bone china. Please look at the other gorgeous figurines we have up for auction. Items MAY be able to be combined, but for safety, it's probably better to pack them separately. Before making payment please contact us for the total, which will include shipping cost and insurance, if desired. To ensure that your item reaches you in pristine condition, it will be professionally packaged using best quality packing materials, which we will purchase and tfore must be included. The insurance which Canada Post automatically includes is limited to a maximum of CDN$100.00 and t is no insurance offered at all for breakage, only for loss. We will ship them: Canada- Regular Parcel- 4-9 business days: US $18.00 USA- Expedited Parcel- 6-12 business days: US $18.00 International- Small Packet Air: 6-10 business days: US $31.80 These are the shipping times which Canada Post estimates.
