The name on the bottom is Character Jugs from Williamsburg, Gunsmith D5597 (I think because the numbers are filled in) Copr 1962 Doulton & Co. Limited. The lettering color is green.The Royal Doulton trademark of a lion over a crown and Made in England Royal Doulton England around a four leaf design. T are four registration marks. 2-3/4" high. 2-1/4" left to right. Clean, shiny, all colors intact, no chips or cracks. Approximate shipping weight 13 oz. including packaging. NOTE: ON MAY 14TH THE US POSTAL SERVICE IS RAISING POSTAGE COSTS AND SEVERAL OTHER ASPECTS OF SHIPPING.
