An extremely rare Royal Doulton Kingsware bottle, ''State Governor'', designed by Charles J Noke, found in a local estate..in like-new condition. 7.5'' tall, it was issued in 1911 in the shape of a handled ewer. The scene depicts an early 19th century State Governor and the wording reads ''A State Governor, 100 years ago''. We've been able to find only two online references to this piece. One has an asking price of $2,500 . Ours is free of damages or repair. We guarantee our description. T are 2 small fleabites in the glaze, maker faults..not use damage, and they are well hidden by the darker brown underglaze on the bell. The spots you may detect in the photographs we provided are glare, and not glaze skips. No cracks or dings, and the only crazing evident is what you'd expect from a nearly 100 year old piece. Superb detail and colors, no fading, strong figure and wording. We will pay shipping costs domestically, including insurance, and we will package carefully with heavy bubble wrap in oversized box. As our policy states, if you return the item, we will determine the method of shipping, and the buyer will assume the cost. We will be glad to ship internationally as well, but shipping fees with no mark up will apply. 4 pound package for your figuring.
