These vases are virtually identical. They both have an impressed 5295 II on the bottom, but t are two very subtle differences that I found. Both urns are 9 1/2 inches tall on a pedestal that is 3 by 3 inches. They are decorated with a wonderful raised design of grapes, grapevines, leaves, and blossoms. The handles are formed by the intertwining of the vines from the front and the back of the vase. If you look closely you will note a bit of gilt mixed in with the hand-painting. One vase has little dark rub marks on three of the grapes on the back of the vase. This same vase also has small dark areas on the two back corners of the pedestal. Everything else on both urns is Perfect! No chips, cracks, scratches, or crazing! Both pieces bear the pink triangle Royal Dux Bohemia mark which dates them to between 1900 and 1918. Those subtle differences I mentioned earlier? If you look closely at the urns you will see that one of them has the pea sized circles surrounding the neck painted dark, and the other light. The vase that has them painted light also has lines (they look like creases) in the large plain areas. These lines remind me of the way a cloth would drape. This is a very nice pair of vasesâe¦ Shipping weight is 6 pounds. Questions : Please email me early with your questions!
