OLD ROYAL DUX, PINK TRIANGLE "E" BOHEMIA, MILKMAID AND COW, PRE WWI Royal Dux figure, milkmaid and her cow. She is holding her milk bucket and is holding onto the cow with a rope around the cow's horns. The maid is dressed in clog shoes, dress and apron, with a type of scarf/shawl on her head. This piece has the pink triangle, with the "E" in it and Bohemia, which were used on Royal Dux prior to WWI. The number "42." and "830" are on the bottom. It is approx. 8" long and 7 1/2" tall. I think it is pottery, but the bottom of the piece is very smooth, more like porcelain, so I can't say possitively. The figure is slightly rough and is done in the same color overall. T is some damage to one of the cow's ears that does not look to have been repaired and t is a hairline crack on the bottom of the piece that runs slightly up into the base but does not go all the way thru the piece.
