Created by the Royal Mint in 2005 and issued in a limited edition Windswept and defiant this very modern Britannia stands alert on the watery edge of the realm, ready and watchful over her homeland. Created in cast resin and painstakingly finished by hand, each delicately modelled figurine truly embodies the spirit of a people and the identity of a nation. Acclaimed as a classic of low relief sculpture, George William De Saulles' design captured the beauty and strength of Britannia. 33cm high & standing on a marble base and comes with the Royal Mint certificate. limited edition of 0335/2500.
