This is an original dining plate from the Royal Palm Hotel, Miami Florida. The Royal Palm was built by Railroad magnate Henry Flager. The hotel opened in Jan. 1897. The Royal Palm was the seventh of the East Coast Hotel systems hotels. It was Miami's first major hotel. There are very few of these plates left as the hotel was torn down in 1930. A must for any early Miami or Flagler railroad collector. Plate is in excellent condition.
