This is an all original Royal Quiet De Luxe Portable Typewriter that I believe is from the 1930's. It is beautiful and in near mint condition. Note there is a little rust on the screw and on the plate - see photos. The typewriter is in amazing condition as you can see from all sides. It shows very minimal wear and does not appear to have been used more than a few times if any! The exterior of the body looks almost new. The case is in very good and stable condition with tight hinges, a locking latch that works with great ease, and a handle that is very secure and works perfectly. The original key is included and is tied on a little string which might be original as well. There is also a little "ROYAL" dust brush included. All the moving parts work. The glass covered keays are in excellant condition. There is a ribbon in the machine and I have typed on it using all the keys. PLEASE wait for invoice shipping - NOT- Ebay default price setting which is incorrect! I only charge Acutal shipping costs.
