You are bidding on an antique ROYAL SAXE ES Art Pottery Vase!White porcelain vase with gold trim measures 6.5 inches high and 2.5 inches at the base. This antique from Royal Saxe ES Germany features gold painted trim and flourishes. Central feature is a woman wearing white toga and flower headband, probably a goddess of some kind. Small Bud Vase was probably purchased sometime in the 1950s or 60s by a couple that collected vases with women's faces from antique shops around the US and the rest of the world. Owner estimates that the original cost of this vase was between $40-60. The Royal Saxe ES Vase is in fair to good condition and shows its age. Some of the ornate detail, including a portion of the back detail (see photo) has faded. The central face is in tact. T is no damage to the structural integrity of the vase. No cracks or chips. The bottom is stamped clearly in GREEN and reads "ROYAL SAXE ES GERMANY" with green crown. Fragile antique requires special handling. Please allow for a $15 handling charge when bidding. A great addition to any collection! Good luck and good bidding.
