This is a very lovely vintage hand painted 9 and 7/8" diameter cabinet style plate by Royal Saxe ES Germany. The beautifully detailed Victorian center scene is of two ladies sitting in a forest with their bow and arrows and a crow at their feet and a little cuped or angel boy peeking behind the tree with his bow and arrow. The outer rim is a maroon or burgundy color with gold fleur de lis pattern which has some light wear to the gold. Three different gold gilted framed surround the plate with other hand painted Victorian people scenes and lovely cameo and spray roses separate these 3 cameos on a green scaled background. The plate has no chips, cracks, repairs or any scratching to the center or other scenes. It does have some light wear to the thick gold inner wide ring, the worst of which I have shown in the photos. I noticed it in 3 places around the gold ring to give you an idea of the frequency. PLEASE email for any further info or photo.
