This is a lovely hand-painted bread or celery dish in excellent condition. T are no chips, cracks or other marks. The gold rim shows only slight wear. The dish measures about 12 1/2" long, 6" wide and 2" deep. The painting is signed on the front "Toussaint". The markings on the back are very faint. But, in gold, t is ROYAL VIENNA with the crown beneath. Also you can barely see a palatte which may be marked "Hand Painted" or "Plinture a' la main", I have seen both. T are no other markings on the bowl. I realize this may not be a true Royal Vienna piece but have stated the markings as I see them. But it is undoubtedly a German piece from the early 1900's - 20's.
