UNIQUE DEMITASSE CUP AND SAUCER SET We have listed this set as "Royal Vienna" simply because of the shield or beehive mark. We expect these were from one of the many studios using this mark during the early part of the 20th century. Try as we might, we have not been able to identify this shape or pattern. Both the reticulated handle and the hand painted decoration are totally unique to our experience. Each cup and saucer in this set is individually decorated with two having a similar pattern. They are very thin porcelain and you may be able to see how translucent they are in the photographs. Cups are 2 1/4" wide at mouth and stand 2 1/8" Saucers are 4 1/2" in diameter Please note the we are not experts and may lack the vocabulary to fully describe an item.
