Fleetwood made this limited edition plate in honor of the marriage of His Royal Highness, Charles, Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer. It is fired in purest 24-karat gold and lustrous Cobalt Blue porcelain. British artist Jeffery Matthews captures the splendor of the Royal Wedding through intricate figures and flowing ribbons. The Badge of Three Ostrich Feathers with the coronet is featured at the top of the plate's design. This represents the Prince of Wales. The mottoo, "Ich Dien" means "I Serve". Each of the English Roses scattered along the plate's border represents Lady Diana Spencer. These lovely blossoms were selected as part of the design because they denote Miss Spencer's English nationality and allude to her beauty. The center of the plate features Charles' and Diana's initials interwoven in an elegant design. This was a limited edition of 10,000 plates. Included is the Certificate Of Authenticity.
