New Royal Winton “Welbeck” Afternoon Tea Set This beautiful Royal Winton Grimwades afternoon tea set has never been used. It was given as a wedding gift and is in prefect condition. I only put items on Ebay that I would be happy to purchase myself. Made with the superb Grimwades quality and style this delightful “Welbeck” pattern features a beautiful floral chintz design on fine china. The rich pale primrose gold background is decorated with a stunningly prettty chintz pattern comprising of a variety of pretty pale pink and yellow roses, lilac tulips and other flowers in blue, framed with green foilage. The rim is finished with a gold. The set is a modern Grimwades produced in 1995 to reflect the beauty of the original vintage Grimwades style of china. The Grimwades backstamp is original and marked on each individual piece (see photograph). This afternoon teaset comprises of the two traditonal round tea cups, round saucers and squarish styled side plates (please see photos for shape detail). Cup diameter measures approx 8 cm Cup height approx 6 cm Saucer diameter measures approx 14.5 cm Side plate measures approx 15.5 cm Further included in this auction is a matching square milk jug, sugar bowl and biscuit/cake plate.
