ROYAL WORCESTER "BRITISH BIRDS ON BRONZE" PORCELAIN / BRONZE BLUE BIRD & FERN BRANCH WITH PINE CONES The porcelain limited edition birds are from a series designed by David Fryer in the 1980's and titled "BRITISH BIRDS ON BRONZE". The delicate sculptures are on bronze mounts and feature various small birds and perfect flowers. This auction is for the BLUE BIRD, measuring 2 3/4" in length and perched on a fern branch that reaches upwards 4 1/2". The detail of the bird is exceptional from the out stretched wings to the brilliant shades of blue. The piece is in excellent condition, without chips, cracks or damage to the bronze or porcelain pine cones. The bottom bears the Royal Worcester logo on a gold plaque as pictured. This lovely statue would be a nice addition to any collection of Royal Worcester Birds of Britain. Please check my listings this week for more of these birds. Comes in Original Box.
