Royal Worcester Porcelain Group modelled as 2 Kate Greenaway Children, C.1879-91 This is a beautiful Porcelain Group measuring 8 inches in height and the diameter of the circular base is 5 1/5 inches.Made by Royal Worcester it is modelled as two opposing Kate Greenaway children standing in branches between two large baskets. It is exquisitely detailed, hand painted, has flesh tone and gold gilt embellishments.It bears the printed Royal Worcester mark for the years 1876 - 1891, unfortunately the date letter on the underneath of the circle has rubbed therefore I am unable to date the exact year.Condition: There is significant loss to one of the baskets, photographs provided. The figures themselves are without fault as is the gold gilding.
