You are bidding on a graceful blue and white vase trimmed in gold by Royal Worcester of England. The base has 2 maker's marks, one states "Royal Worcester England" the other says "Barr Porcelain." (pictured) This vase has also been described by an appraiser as Royal Doulton, although t are no makers' marks stating this. The other mark that does appear on the base is "1898." This beautiful, 7 inch tall vase has delicate blue flowers with stylized stems symmetrically adorning its unique bulbous shape. The thin, curving neck has incredible color, gradually changing from light blue to a rich, deep blue at the top. Around the top opening is intricately detailed gold filigree. The glaze's color changes to a lovely robin's egg shade of blue inside the neck opening. T is more of the gold filigree trim around the deep blue base, balancing the color gradations. Photos can not do this vase justice. T are no chips, cracks or flaws of any kind, it is pristine.
