Roycroft Arm Chair MISSION OAK stickley era THICK HEAVY you have a very nice original Roycroft Arm Chair from the original Arts and Crafts period of Mission Oak furniture, say about 1920. It is solid quarter sawn oak with Redone leather cushions and nice dark original finish is waxed and soothed. A great chair. 5 slatted panels on the sides. Very thick and heavy stock oak in the construction. Pegged in several places. Measures 47 inches tall at the backrest and 22 inches deep and 25 inches wide. Features the desirable Macmurdo foot. This item is part of a large collection of New Hope Bucks County Art, Art Pottery and Arts and Crafts Mission Oak Furniture. It is being sold from the home of a long time Collector and we are looking to sell it all. The owner has financial issues connected with the repair and rennovation of his home and is motivated to sell these tip top quality furnishings to relieve these pressures at this stage in his life.
