I found these pieces of Roycroft at a yard sale about 12 years ago in the southern part of Wyoming County, New York. The color is brown over the copper which I believe is called Aurora Brown. The group consists of a letter holder, letter opener, pen tray, cover to an ink well and a glass container for the ink (not sure if this glass piece is original or not it has a mark on the bottom of the glass that reads A.G.Co.). Each Roycorft piece is marked with the Roycroft symbol except for the ink well cover. The pen holder is bent slightly at one of the corners as shown in the photo. The rest of the pieces appear to be in good condition in relation to its age which I think maybe around 1923-1925. I did try to research this many years ago and I think I saw this same style in a book on Roycroft which dated it during this time period. The letter opener has some wear at the end which has uncovered the copper color as seen in the photo. This would be a nice selection to add to your Roycroft collection.
