Offered is a Roycroft hand- hammered copper candlestick from the arts and crafts, Stickley era - circa 1920. It is clearly marked on the underside with the middle mark. This candle or chamber stick has varied hammering, including a Karl Kipp-like thick handle (radial) with two rivets attaching it to the body. The dark, aurora brown patina is original to the piece and shows a bit of natural age with minor white candle wax, normal grime & one surface scratch on rim. I have not tempted to clean - I leave all my copper as is. The candlestick is a beauty - It does appear to be just slightly out of round, but only noticed as I critique it for sale - Given the thickness, heft and general solidity all feels as it was originally made. It measures 1.5 inches tall and is 5.5 inches in diameter & the top of the handle measures 2 inches in length. Please feel free to email questions.
