RPPC 1914 FALL RIVER, MASS MA 14 SUMMER STREET Labeled "1914 Jan Hajdan's House, 14 Summer St. Fall River," this unused, divided-back, real photo post card was once part of a large collection of, what is now considered, very rare images. According to old maps, Summer Street once ran from Spring St to Anawan St. one block up from the Viaduct. The Hajdan house shown would have been located about w the parking lot across from Work Out World is located today. Part of either the Anawan or the Metacomet Mill is shown on the right and the Kilburn-Lincoln Machinist Building is in the distance on the left. The view would have been looking west toward the harbor with Anawan Street on the right. Note the small yard enclosed by fencing. We have no other information about Hajdan.
