Real photograph postcard view (on AZO stock) of a buildings and hurricane damage in New London, Connecticut, by Bishop Studio, circa 1938. The view (number 21A), identified in ink on the reverse as “Off Pequot Ave.,” shows a street with trees and utility poles leaning over it. A small shack stands at center, and many other buildings are visible in the near distance. The damage in this scene doesn’t seem too bad. Nice New London hurricane damage image! The postcard is in good to very good condition with light wear and very light soiling. Note the light rubbing at the corners of the card. RI residents pay sales tax.
