Gorgeous high quality porcelain RS Prussia bowl made in Germany by Reinhold Schlegelmilch at his factory located in Suhl in the Germanic regions known as Prussia prior to World War 1. This decorative bowl measures 10 1/2 inches and has scalloped edges with gold trimming them. The flowers decorating the interior are roses and daisies in pink, yellow and white. The center has a raised star pattern-decorated with flecks of gold. T is also dark and light green decorating the pure white background of the interior. In very good to excellent condition. Back is marked RS Prussia wit a star above the initials-in red and a greenish red wreath around the initials. (Red Mark) This porcelain is considered one of the top antique Victorian porcelains. Exports to the USA happened between 1880 and 1910.Insurance is required and included in the shipping cost.
