Fresh from a local estate sale. Gorgeous RS Prussia berry set in a gorgeous ivory satin finish with magnolia blossoms(?) and a metallic copper/purple/teal background - the background looks to me like it could be a tiffany finish, but I'm not an expert by any means. This set is a stunning example of RS Prussia porcelain - thin, delicate, and beautifully decorated. The master berry bowl measures 10 1/2" diameter and 2 3/4" deep. The individual berry bowls are 5" diameter. They do have some gold wear to the edges, but not too much considering the age of these bowls. The large bowl does have a small chip on the edge (about 1/4" - looks like it could be easily repaired), which is shown in the picture and a few tiny (smaller than a pin head) dark spots that looks like glaze pops - only mentioned for the sake of accuracy, they are barely visible. The small bowls have no chips, cracks, or crazing, but a few do have some minor roughness on the edge. Overall they are in very good condition for their age. They are all marked on the back with the green wreath and star and RS Germany. Any white spots in the photo are due to the flash and not flaws. See more and larger photos!!! My Selling Policies Description I try to be very clear about the item and its condition. Most of my items are not new so minor wear is to be expected. Significant damage will always be noted . If you have any questions about the condition, need additional information or want additional or larger photos, please email me and I'll be happy to send them to you. Payment Money orders, cashiers checks or PayPal are accepted. No personal checks please. Check out and payment must be within 3 days of the close of auction if paid by PayPal and within 10 days of the close of auction if paid by money order or cashiers check (because of mailing time). If you are mailing a money order or cashiers check, please e-mail me after the auction closes so I can expect it. If payment is not received within the above time periods, sale will be revoked and a Non-Paying Bidder alert will be filed. Delivery Items are shipped by USPS Priority Mail, normally within 24 hours of receipt of cleared payment, excluding holidays and Sundays. Shipping is calculated based on the weight of the package and the zip code of the buyer. Insurance is required if the item is breakable, otherwise it's optional. Buyer pays shipping and insurance. I pack all of my items very carefully. If you have any special packing requests, I will be happy to accommodate you, but t will be an additional charge for supplies and handling. No international bidders please. I ship to the USA only . ReturnsReturns are accepted only if the item is not as described in the text and by photos. Buyer must contact me within 3 days of receipt of item to initiate a return. The purchase price can be refunded, but the cost of shipping and insurance cannot. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
