I am starting to sell some ofmy fine hand painted china, since I am 77 years old a lot of my items have been packed away and I am hoping someone has a beautiful breakfront to display these item. This piece belonged to my mother if alive today she would be 115 years old. It was very rarely used and kept in my china cabinet. The POPPIES on this piece are stunning as can be seen in the pictures I provided beautiful pale orange, eggshell, and hints of brown. The center of the poppies is in beautiful shades of blue. The soft base/eggshell base of the border creates a marvelous backdrop to bring out the details of the floral design. Then to finish the spectacular detail the rim has a gorgeous gold embellishment. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! A bit of history RS Tillowitz was marked on porcelain by the Reinhold Schlegelmilch factory at Tillowitz from the 1920s to the 1940s. While the RS Tillowitz mark varied in shape and font the mark was usually green (it was hard to take picture of trademark but on dish it is green). This is a substantial piece that measures approximately 9-1/2 " in diameter and about 2-1/4" deep. This bowl is in excellent condition for a very old piece and the colors are beautiful.
