Pattern: Optic Brand: Hobbs, Brockunier & Company Year: 1888 Style: Syrup Reproduced: NoA wonderful rubina (cranberry to clear) syrup in the very popular Hobb's Optic pattern. Made in 1888 by Hobbs, Brockunier & Company. The syrup or molasses can is about 6 1/8 inches high to top of finial and just about 4 3/8 inches in diameter at its widest. The syrup is free of chips, cracks and nicks. The glass is clear and is not sick, cloudy, discolored or have chemical deposits. Lid is clean and spring works fine. The lid is patent dated.
