This necklace came out of an Estate Sale where we purchased the entire house and it was found later amoung some clothes. I will say up front I am not a jeweler or an expert in vintage jewelry, what I describle is just from years of buying and selling estates and some time spend selling jewelry. The necklace is 7 clusters of grapes formed by 6 rubbies(I believe) per cluster, one ruby is missing. Each cluster has 3 diamond chips(I believe), that form the leaves and stem, one diamond chip is missing as far as I can tell. The setting is marked 18K as you can see from the picture. I do not think the chain and clasp are 18k gold, not sure what they are made of no markings on them that I could see. I do my very best to explain what I have found out about the item I am selling and try and find all the marking or defects as best I can. The total lenght of necklace is about 15". I have no other information as to who made it or where it was crafted. I know it is old but how old I can only guess, pre 1960's. I have had it for over 10 years. I do not know the total grams of gold or the total cw of the stones, I sold my scale. Please ask questions before you bid, I will try and answer.
