Deep ruby red translucent glass European miniature finger lamp. Made in Sweden or Denmark, this lamp dates from the early 20th Cent, probably about 1920 give or take 10 years. This lamp is true ruby glass, made with real gold. Very good condition and it appears new, unused with no damage to the glass or burner. I have purchased this lamp myself in Nordic Europe. The glass of the base is about 3 inches high, and the shade is about the same for an over height of just about 7 inches. They are really nice lamps, and make beautiful, warm light. They are great for christmas and winter in general. They use liquid parafin or kerosene, but parafin is cleaner. The lamp and burner is in perfect condition. This is the real thing, and an antique that you can use in daily life and enjoy! Happy bidding...DZ
