Deep ruby red translucent glass European miniature finger lamp. Hulsebus II #359 is a correct reference. Also see Smith Book 1 lamp numbers 435 and 436 for similar form, manufacture and date. They date from the early 20th Cent. Very good condition, with no damage to the glass or burner. Shade has slight twist to panels. I have purchased these lamps myself in the Nordic Europe. The glass of the base is about 3 inches high, and the shades are just about the same. They are really nice lamps, and make beautiful, warm light. They are great for christmas and winter in general. They use liquid parafin or kerosene, but parafin is cleaner. These are the real thing, and they are an antique that you can use in daily life and enjoy it! Happy bidding...DZ
